Quality Schools, Mark Soczek

In this program, a team of MBA and undergraduate students are assigned to a local school to apply principles of Quality Management to empower teachers, students, parents, and staff.  Students work with the school for ten weeks to identify issues, address educational challenges, and facilitate the development and implementation of long-term solutions.

Madagascar Community Development Initiative, David Deal and Judi McLean Parks

This is a collaborative course through the School of Law, the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, Missouri Botanical Garden and the Blessing Basket Project, a non-profit organization based in St. Louis. This initiative provides students with the resources and knowledge to help balance economic, social, environmental, and political factors in a village in Madagascar.  The course is cross-listed by the Olin Business School and School of Law, but it is open to any undergraduate or graduate student.
