Overview
Antonio Rodriguez

"I know that I did not just get my education at Washington University; I got it in St. Louis, and being able to learn the skills that could eventually make me a good public servant is one way I can think of to repay this community."

 - Antonio  Rodriguez, Olin School of Business, 2008

Landing Service Across Campus

Though many assume that youth have little interest in the political process, the Washington University community proves otherwise.

Political science remains one of the most popular majors. Political and advocacy groups thrive on our campus, and students consistently voice a desire to make a difference.

The Institute builds on this momentum by developing students into leaders of social change. We encourage members of the University community to take part in the democratic process, be it through voting, advocacy, or careers in public service.

Our signature efforts nurture civic awareness and capacity, giving students the tools to actively commit to shaping our nation’s future.
