Maximizing the momentum of the 2008 presidential election year, the Institute worked with Student Union and University partners to engage students, faculty, and staff in political dialogue and action. On October 2, 2008, the Vice Presidential Debate was held at Washington University, providing an insider's look at the democratic process. (NEW! Check out http://www.myspace.com/mydebates, the official online companion to the debates.)
Students had numerous opportunities for involvement leading up to the debate and beyond through a series of activities billed as IVote programming.
Check back soon for information about Gephardt Institute programming in the next election year!
